Title: Healing Is Possible, Even When the Wound Runs Deep
My name is Apostle Mary M. Smith, and my heart is for people who are hurting, healing, and learning how to live whole again. For many years, I’ve walked with women and families who carry silent pain—pain from trauma, rejection, abuse, and emotional wounds that don’t always show on the outside, but deeply affect the inside.
I currently serve as Apostle of Spiritual Growth Ministries, a ministry established on October 9, 2005, with a mission to help people grow spiritually and find healing, restoration, and purpose through Christ. I also oversee Beauty for Brokenness Women’s Care Ministry, a safe space where women can come just as they are, be heard, be supported, and begin the journey of inner healing—without shame and without judgment.
Mental health and inner healing matter. You can love God and still be hurting. You can be strong and still need support. Healing is not a sign of weakness—it’s a sign of courage.
I am also preparing to release a book titled Abused by My King, which shares my personal journey through abuse, trauma, and the road to healing and restoration. This book is not just about what was broken—it’s about how God brings truth, freedom, and hope even out of the most painful chapters of our lives.
If you are in a season of healing, please know this: you are not alone, your story matters, and your healing is possible. Step by step, day by day, wholeness can be rebuilt.

Apostle Mary M. Smith serves as Apostle of Spiritual Growth Ministries, a ministry established in 2005 and known as “A Ministry for Growing People.” Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, she accepted Christ in 1985 and is a graduate of Truth Bible College with an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies, along with additional seminary training. She began preaching and teaching in 1992 and has ministered in music, leadership development, and women’s conferences for many years. Out of her own healing journey, she oversees Beauty for Brokenness Women’s Care Ministry, serving women through prayer, counseling, and healing classes. She is also the author of the upcoming book Abused by My King and continues to serve with a passion for spiritual growth and inner healing.
